April Robinson, ADT dispatcher, saved the life of a Texas man, Sir James Smith, by responding to the call of a panic button.  They were brought together for the first time yesterday so that they could meet and show their respects.  I was honored to be there and capture their emotions, but for the full story, see here. Garvey Photography recently had the pleasure of photographing the young girls of Dancer’s Studio in Knoxville.  We owe a big thank you to Mrs. Haskins for helping us organize the fundraiser.  It’s a wonderful thing to be able to share in such a beautiful art form.

All of the girls are extremely talented and well-trained.   Not to mention, the little penguins were incredibly cute.

I’ve known Josh Moats since the 1st grade, so when he said he was getting married I wondered who on earth could possibly rival his intellectual prowess and unorthodox sense of humor. Well, I’m happy to say he and his fiance balance each other perfectly and I congratulated them both by offering my services as a professional photographer. I considered it special to me to capture their personality as a couple because I know Josh so well, so here it is their engagement session:
