Charles Garvey of Garvey Photography in Knoxville has earned the Photographic Craftsman degree from Professional Photographers of America. PPA President Ron Nichols presented the degree to Garvey at the association’s annual convention, Imaging USA, held in January in Nashville. The Photographic Craftsman degree recognizes Garvey’s service to the photographic profession as an orator, author and mentor.

Charlie, Numerous times today I was asked by the media “do you remember where you were when the Challenger exploded” I totally remembered that I was at your house going over shots I wanted you to tKe or our wedding. I will never forget that or the favulousmjob you did for us. I am happy to report that we will be celebrating our 25th in March and we always love looking at our beautiful pictures. I would love to get a portrait size of our wedding and don’t know Iif that would be possible. Please let me know and what procedure we need to go through!
